Interactive Fantasy League Rules

TEAMS

Each fantasy team consists of fourteen(14) players from 4 offensive positions and includes one or more defensive units. The defensive unit(s) includes the defense(s) of a single NFL team. Only your active roster will accumulate points for your team – players on your bench gain personal stats but these are not included as points for your team. The active roster consists of eight (8) players that must be filled using the following requirements.

Position Required Starters
QB 1
RB 2
WR* 2
PK 1
DT 1
WC** 1

QB=Quarter Back, RB= RunningBack, WR= Wide Receiver, TE=Tight End, PK= Place Kicker, WC= Wildcard Position

* Tight ends fall into the wide receiver category.

**The wildcard position may be filled by any offensive or defensive player.

Teams may be composed of any combination of players from any of the positions. However you must maintain the mininimum of required starters at each position.

Active rosters are due each Sunday by 10:00 AM MST. Use the submit line-up function on your team page to turn in your line-up. If you have the owners assistant module you may e-mail your line-up changes from within the owners assistant. In weeks that contain early games(Thursday thru Saturday) submit a complete line-up prior to the first game of the week. Players involved in the early games will be frozen at kick-off of the early games, changes to all other players may be made up until the normal deadline on Sunday morning.

If you fail to turn in an active roster you will start the same roster from the previous week. Lineups for each team will be made available on the website on Sunday morning by 11:00 AM

SCORING

The eight active players on each team generate statistics that, in turn, earn fantasy points. These points are tallied to yield a weekly score for your team. The same will be true for your opponent. The winner is the team with more points earned for that week. In the event of a tie score, a tie will be given to each team. Check the Scoring System for a break out of scoring rules by positon.

Official scoring will be calculated based upon statistics provided by Sideline Software and FLM - Fantasy league Manager.

THE DRAFT

The draft will consist of fourteen rounds and will be in serpentine format. The owner with the first pick in the first round will have the last pick in the second round.

You may trade draft positions, but not individual picks.

TRANSACTIONS

Free Agents

Free agents are available on a first-come first-serve basis. There is no charge for the first four free agents you acquire. Each free agent you pick up thereafter will cost $5.00. In order to claim a free agent you will have to waive an existing player from your team.

A list of available free agents will be available throughout the season. To claim a free agent go to the Message Board and post a claim. You must indicate the player claimed and the player to be dropped from your roster. The message board is the only place a claim will be accepted. Any verbal or e-mail claims will not be processed until you post a claim to the transaction board. This ensures that free agents are awarded on a first-come first-serve basis and eliminates any disputes about who made the claim first.

Waiver Wire

Players dropped during a week will go on waivers for a period of one week. While a player is on waivers all teams will have a chance to post a claim to that player. At the end of the waiver period the player will be awarded to the team with the lowest waiver priority. Initial waiver priorities are based upon the reverse order of the first round of the draft. (Second Round).

To claim a player on waivers use the Message Board. If the claim is successful (no one with a lower priority places a claim) you will be awarded the player. You will then be given the 12th waiver priority and all teams between you and the 12th priority will be moved up by one. Claiming a player off waivers is counted as a free agent pick-up and is subject to the same fee's or counts towards your 4 free transaction limit.

If no one claims a player on waivers he will become a free agent at the end of his waiver period and will be available on a first come first serve basis

TRADES

Players may be traded between teams from the time each team is drafted through the 11th week of the NFL season. Trades do not necessarily need to include the same number of players, though each team must stay within the active roster restrictions of the 14 player roster. If a trade reduces your roster to less than 14 players you must acquire free agents to get back to the 14 man minimum. Likewise if you exceed the 14 player limit as the result of a trade you will have to waive a player from your roster. There are no fee's for trades.

Collusion among team owners is strictly prohibited. All trades must pass a 48 hour review period. Once a trade agreement is reached between 2 or more owners the trade will be announced to the league. The other owners may protest the trade within 48 hours. Commissioner has the right to review and veto any trade if two or more protests are received within the 48 hour period. After the 48 hour period no protests will be allowed.
